I feel the presence,

Of a new beginning,

Jumping up and down the stairs,

I'm glad it has come to this,

A beautiful night of dreamless sleep,

Now I know the value of rest,

It makes sense this way,

To start and just move forward,

These night escapades that wake me up,

I wonder in a different time,

It started out as a search for balance,

But the embrace that came upon me,

These highs and lows that overtake me,

My mental strength is not enough,

Take today for example,

The paralysis was enormous,

Like a new born,

It was cozy breathable and fun,

It worked so wonderfully,

Looking at you looking at me,

I'm trying to change my ideas,

The default of how I see my life,

Life is just as I make it,

A way of dancing in the rain,

A fairyland of endless possibilities,

To create anew from fallen ideas,

I tried something today,

Totally outside my comfort,

I sit by the beach,

The lapping water calls my soul,

The crow sits by nodding in the rain,

I watch the deluge pour down a mighty storm,

It all sums up to today,

Brings everything in,

The lingering pain that doesn't go away,

I've tried it all to no avail,

Curl up with me,

Let's talk of the world,

It makes no sense,

But it makes me sad,
