Watch the Deluge

The crow sits by nodding in the rain,

I watch the deluge pour down a mighty storm,

But in the cooling aftermath I see myself,

As a raging fire that knows no bounds,

All that I desire is outside my reach,

I want this so bad,

That I might choke on a trap,

Is this what patience is,

That wants my compliance,

So that it can work to bring me joy.
