Plans are made and plans are broken,

I woke up today feeling like a sack,

Once in a while it all comes back,

To my daily grind,

I've gotten some gems to use,

To pick up and build myself,

As life moves and I learn more,

I feel the pressure to adjust and be serious,

Strange dreams have started appearing,

Premonitions or foresight of the future,

The start of a day,

Should be out and about,

Am moving up and about,

I miss those times of careless freedom,

The silent drip that hits my window,

The rush of wind that brings the cold,

Rule the mind and make it stop,

With thoughts of fear and unending deaths,

It is an increasingly fun life,

I believe it myself, I live it every day,

Ideas and pathways will emerge,

New things and people will surround,

I sit here in temporary peace,

Writing and reflecting on the morning,

To wake up so fresh like I didn't fall asleep,

A dreamless state that makes me think twice,

Rest days are big days,

Happy days and wanted days,

The clarity one finds amid pain,

To know what to do and what to leave,

Sometimes being tired is a warning,

To pick up the baton of rest and peace,

Picture what life can bring,

All the hopes and dreams,

You can let life define you,

Problems persecute you,

From a slumber of beauty known,

To flaws and fears that make a reality,

A new month a new start,
