Let Life Define

You can let life define you,

Problems persecute you,

And be downtrodden and diffident,

Or within the struggle you can find a glimmer,

A rope to hold on to,

Something to tether oneself to,

To still be,

Still hope,

And maybe things will change,

And maybe they won't,

But you'll have in a small way stood,

Maybe conquered,

A small bit of yourself,

Because life can be crazy,

To much advise on standing tall,

Sometimes we just need to crawl.
