As I sit at the edge of my bed,

Deciding what to start the day with,

To the best and worst of me,

The unending buzz to get it all done,

Getting out of a blinding rut,

Seeing me as a worthy hero,

As work starts and ends in flair,

Celebrations and happy cheer dominates the scene,

Life is a crazy gal,

With sharp nails and soft words,

Sitting on a frozen lake,

My reflection is all at stake,

As the rays illuminate the white corridor,

As life moves and I look at myself,

A perfect dream in the best place,

The ocean front with rolling waves,

To put oneself in the line of fire,

A cross road walk into the unknown dark path,

In life and love,

As we trot and leap,

An echo a drip the slinking in the corner,

A few a lot and the crazy runs it does,

The light rain without drain covers,

Falling creating a light sheen of dew,

Like a phoenix on the rise,

The ashes mixed with colored wax,

As life unfolds and creeps,

The true and graceful look up to see,

Dreams and ideas that bring forth ideas,

Fights and movement that's brought to fore,

The dead of the night as the wind bellows,

The peaceful whisper of rustling winds,

As the dreams of a better future emerge,

The landscape and the soil is set,

Scared, fear, unhappy and tired,

Not sure of the task and the ground ahead,

Incessant buzz that lingers in my ear,

The unending buzz of cars driving away,
