Surface Dirt

The light rain without drain covers,

Falling creating a light sheen of dew,

Quite light and just a touch beautic,

Alas the fog will wittle out and sun will shine,

Then the dry wind of the south will swoop in,

And the dirt from the wind will settle on the surface,

So surface dirt will be reborn,

And daily it recurs and builds itself up,

Creating a layer so thick I'm unable to clear,

So here I am scrubbing,

Coz anything you ignore although living,

Will cause a bigger problem just like this surface dirt.
