Noise

Incessant buzz that lingers in my ear,

The unending buzz of cars driving away,

Clear movement of that which was once still,

It makes me wonder and think of myself,

Why I'm stagnant and not in motion,

When I'm out of my shell and look,

At the beauty and wonder that surrounds my way,

It would be the working of the fates and the One,

To build me up to see the truth,

That a moving target is harder than a stagnant one,

To shoot and kill or maime its tail,

So the noise I hear will act as a match,

To light my spark to move ahead.
