The dreams that stagger in and out,

I see myself and pray for rest,

In this crazy evolution of life's plans,

I sit here and think of the words I say,

Take it slowly,

Take it in stride,

Rage is an interesting emotion,

Comes out amid the calm,

Life is what you asked it,

Such sayings make me gag,

A dreaded meeting that shows me why,

A clear start to the day's work,

I sit here and wonder,

How life got this slow,

It seems I've run out of words,

Of feelings and sayings that make me tick,

I see what I can see,
