Woke Up

I woke up and wished I could sleep,

Be unconcerned with what is information,

Be like those who lay down and pick up when required,

I envy the simple and mundane of others,

The non-striving and cowering to conform,

Because if I did that,

Wouldn't life be much more simple?

These challenges would disappear,

And heartache not a reminder,

So I'm stuck between the vision and standing still,

Sometimes this is the best place to be.
