Wispy and Formless

Wispy and formless,

It eats away at the marrow,

It burrows and festers,

To make life more unbearable,

Could I spare a thought to light it?

And show its destruction on my body,

Such difficulty and sorrow, sadness,

Of trying to reach up from drowning.
