This Dismal Place

I look around this dismal space,

Step by step I walked right here,

Bit by bit I didn't realise my deeds,

In this place where all is about,

None is aligned and fears are within,

I look and wonder why I should be stagnant,

When life is all you can see now,

In the beauty of what I can rely upon,

What I should discard,

In all the strength of life in its distance.
