Overwhelm

Sense of overwhelm that threatens me,

The wave of to-do lists that never end,

The start of the day that doesn't go according to plan,

The distractions that appear from life itself,

The end of the day that's so empty,

The sleep that disappears due to anxiety,

I stand at the precipice,

Of another disaster,

To change my path and how I respond,

Because this is a recipe for a calamity.
