Milestones

A mile a day,

A milestone met,

This life of dare and fear alike,

I ponder and wonder what comes at me,

I see this grain of future scenes,

It's great and bad,

So big and small,

I want and desire,

To be more like me,

I pick and choose,

What I want and see,

I know today,

It's all or nothing,

It will or it won't,

But I'll try my best,

This life is mine,

I won't be hard on me.
