Kin and Kith

My kin and kith surround my shores,

The safety of this mountain block,

The flag is raised to cross the sea,

The gods of chaos stand across the storm,

Is it fear or courage that compels my heart?

Could my flag and sword be wary too?

Across the ship on the stern I stand,

Fighting with the demons from the fog below,

As it slows and my heart can rest,

The sound of trumpet and rescue reigns,

My champion and saviour is here,

So the chaos and the fog recedes away,

And I'm left in awe in my lover's hands.
