Farthest

It's the farthest I have ever been,

The closest I am to this,

The happiest I am to it,

I didn't think I would reach this far,

But I have walked down this alley,

I have faced down the demons,

And I am steadily dancing in my life,

It has been a crazy number of days,

But I am 100 days in,

So glad I am writing down poetry,

Because my soul has found healing,

Through the many ups and down,

I'll still write to keep on dancing.
