Fly Away

Calm as a bird in a cage,

Wings spread to fly away,

The fantasy is now a reality,

As soon as it is opened up,

I charge out to make my way,

The wind sails beneath my wings,

I flap and flounder to keep it steady,

It is hard but I'm determined,

To find my way and make it worth it,

Worth the cage but mostly the view,

Of mountains high and beauty tall.
