Cringe and Wonder

I cringe and wonder,

Why I make some decisions on the fly,

To make others happy,

I end up inconveniencing myself,

Then I sit and stew,

And wonder what went wrong,

I want to be more pragmatic,

But in happiness I become simplistic,

So here I sit stewing away,

Wondering what the heck I got myself into.
