Closer and Faster

Closer and faster,

Harder but slower,

Why does it take me,

A long time to matter?

In my own head I ponder these questions,

Daily I seek to,

Keep up the facade,

But deep down I want to be free of these shackles,

Pick up the areas that I can make changes,

So I'll take it slowly,

But take it faster,

Cause today,

I want to enjoy more.
