Beauty of Life

The beauty of life I don't see today,

The sense of overwhelm that burdens my soul,

Being a front runner I bear the brunt,

Of scars and wars and battles unknown,

I want to rest but woe unto me,

I stop it ends the battle is lost,

It gets harder not easier,

I blink and now I'm a different person,

A fighter a warrior and overall champion,

But in the next life,

I want peace,

In its pervasive manner.
