Truly an Escape

Writing is truly an escape for me,

It helps me see and straighten up,

My thoughts that herald all manner,

Of doom and gloom and heavy stuff,

I don't know what it makes me feel,

A certain rest that I cannot tear,

Away from love and the daily grind,

So I take this time and live life out now,

Make things easy and take away the stress,

Of perfection and doing to just live my life.
