I Write Daily

I write daily and every morning,

I distil thoughts that otherwise decay,

I verbalise pain that would hurt my bones,

I see life after the words leave,

I didn't know this,

But this is therapy,

This is life breathing in my bones,

This is happiness infused with reality,

It is here.

It grounds my thoughts,

Instead of fear I get courage,

Instead of death I see life,

So I write,

Daily and faithfully,

Till the end of my time.
