Early Dawn

The typing and the groaning of the soul,

The start of a new day to the setting of new goals,

To start with a sign but to continue with hope,

To plan ahead and think of the best,

As the rolls and the sun rises,

The early dawn brings a new day,

I write this poem to extract my thoughts,

To bring the best and live the rest,

Plans may work but faith will test,

At the end of the day’s travails and its triumphs,

A headstart I hope will give me a win,

So I labour in the dawn with an aim of the goal.
