Blissful Day

A blissful day that starts awakening,

I long for what I don't have,

What I do have is dusted and empty,

Is striving all we're meant to do?

Or take each day as a beauty of its own,

To crave what isn't,

Is to think of naught,

So start with the have,

And work to the NOT,

For surely all this must mean something,

A greater cause that extends outside our lives.
