So serene and beautiful,

It blinds my eyes to the filth,

The suffering and to death,

I see what I can be today,

I want to be fearless,

Happy and so grateful,

In life and love,

Perspective on the possible and the unknown,

I walk down this path today,

I see who I can be,

I dream of the future,

But more so,

I live in the present.
