The Sunset Poet

No Bounds

Real fatigue knows no bounds at all,

Creeps in the pain anxiety and stress,

Takes a seat beside the hardworking,

Joins in laughter with the partygoers,

It talks to you but moves away,

Never imposing but it’s ever-present,

Then when you think it's gone for good,

A boulder lands squarely on your back,

Unable to move but succumb to it,

So remember to take those breaks,

To walk with it, And embrace their touch.
