Life makes things harder or easier,

We need to take the initiative today,

To build a life that makes sense,

To do what needs to be done,

To stand up and take things out,

So that all I do is what is required,

I can and be better today,

I know I'm meticulous,

But want to keep things in check,

So here I am in my zone,

Looking up and looking through,

In the wintry and coldest days,

Looking forward to sunny skies.
