In this day such excellence exists,

And I strive to touch it,

But all in vain,

Instead of curling back and dying,

I stand in awe of being closer,

To such goodness in this life,

I'll walk this path as I should,

I'll stand and be who I can,

Not lazy but happy,

Not stupid but awesome,

I'm so glad and blessed,

But more so, I'm living.
