As I stare into the distance,

The future of my dreams,

I wonder if this too shall come to pass,

These dreams of joy and people,

These dreams of more to my life,

I am at peace and happy,

But I just want more to this life,

I believe it is time I get it,

But the distance between today and that dream,

The experiences between now and then,

Can I skip them?
