Chirping Sounds

Could it be that the chirping sounds,

Of birds that circle the pond,

Make me think of happier times,

Of beauty and peace,

Of the temple bell ding,

And of gentle springs,

Of river flows and cricket nests,

Is my memory right or playing a game,

To feel sane and embellish the truth,

Is my sanity truth or a figment thereof,

Can I seize the day or remain this dazed?
