Getting out of a blinding rut,

Seeing me as a worthy hero,

The alternate reality

I so want it to be true so bad,

But life without challenges is a hard task,

All I want is some peace of mind,

A sense of self and happy medium

But it is not how my path is set,

So I'll do my best to stand up tall,

To pick my battles and work so hard,

To keep the pace and live out loud.
