My birthday elicits all types of emotions,

I'm happy that I woke up today,

I'm grateful that I have this life,

I'm humbled that I can reflect on it,

I'm blessed that I survived the pain,

I'm hopeful that my dreams are alive,

I'm fearful that I missed good ideas,

I'm aware that I choose this path,

So I'll celebrate myself today,

I'll take in each moment for myself,

Mostly keep on walking down this path.
